Rogers Centre environmental and informational displays in the public areas of the facility had not seen a major upgrade since original construction in 1987. There were literally hundreds of tube TV’s still operating throughout the venue.
The staff at Rogers Centre approached Westbury to assist in designing and installing a new digital signage network to bring the facility up to modern technology standards. Starting in the winter of 2012 and continuing on through 2013 Westbury has installed over 300 new displays that have not only changed the look of Rogers Centre, but provided guests to the facility with easier ways to get information on the event they are attending. The network running the system is also flexible and robust enough to allow not only changes on the fly for what is seen on screens but changes to the complete layout of displays as the needs of the facility change over the coming years.
